When you just showed that shot of the entry and after you said you wanted to make it pretty, I thought about what I’d do with it if were mine, and here’s what I think I’d do. First I’d put down a fairly large plush round rug in the center, put a fairly good sized table, and top that with some large candle sticks, and maybe add a decorative round tray with some books and a plant. Then I’d get rid of the little rocker and put matching urns on either side of the doorway, and either put high end faux ferns or faux olive trees in them. I think the dresser works well, and that would be a timeless look for your entry. 😊 Also, I can’t believe how much energy you have after your trip and with your cold! Feel better. High five to big boy Malcolm for using the toilet! Potty training is generally the job I dreaded the most!

Wow! Malcolm has grown so much. I think he is taller. Dad was ambitious with the potty training. A sweet accomplishment to come home to. Sorry both you and your hubby were sick, but thankful you were only dealing with a cold and didn't have covid. Thankfully covid seems more mild than the first wave. The house looked really good and a treat not to come home to an overwhelming mess. You had time to recover from jetlag before jumping in. Our local thrift store has a big supply of wood end tables. You could probably find some nice ones at a good price. Either leave as it or refinish. Enjoy the hunt!

Hi Jessie. Have you settled back into your normal life and recovered from jet lag? So far, knock on wood, I've never gotten Covid which I'm very thankful and grateful for.
